As a Maine furniture manufacturer, our efforts are to focus towards healthy forests. Maine Made Furniture believes in responsible business practices to ensure we will have forests for all future generations.

From seed's to seat's:
It all starts with our logging practices. Our fully licensed foresters ensure that our land use practices adhere to Maine's strict environmental policies. Our harvesters deep respect for our environment, allow outdoorsmen to enjoy hunting, fishing, and hiking the pristine Maine woods. Their responsible practices will secure the future for generations to come.

Our Factory:
The premium complex provides a green environment for our employees and our customers. All waste from our furniture creations are reused. Whether it be by our blowers, that consume all sawdust from our machinery, or our lumber scraps that are reused or recycled. Wood product waste is burned in our high efficient wood boilers that heat our complex and hot water. We use state of the art, high efficiency lighting, and require our employees to limit their power consumption to a minimum. All paper and cardboard are reused or recycled as well.
